Parent Involvement

Our thriving PTO is at the heart of our preschool community, bringing families and staff together through meaningful connection, support, and fun! The PTO helps plan and run a wide range of events throughout the year, including family gatherings, holiday celebrations, teacher appreciation initiatives, fundraisers, and community-building activities that enrich the preschool experience for all.

The PTO meets bi-monthly. All parents are encouraged to attend meetings and events, share ideas, and get involved at whatever level feels comfortable. There are many ways to participate, from helping with events to joining discussions that shape programming and school-wide initiatives.

Each classroom has one or two allocated room parents. Room parents play an especially important role in supporting classroom communication and coordination. They help share updates from the PTO, assist with classroom events and celebrations, and serve as a helpful connection between teachers, families, and the PTO team.

For more information, or to get involved, please reach out to our PTO co-presidents, Rachel Glauser and Shari Molta at kipreschoolpto@gmail.com, who are happy to help answer questions and guide families toward meaningful ways to participate.
